Networking Without the Awkwardness

Networking advice is everywhere—but most of it feels forced, transactional, or simply unrealistic.

This workshop takes a different approach. Instead of generic tips, we explore how networking actually works through human behaviour and relationships.

Using the ideas from Adam Grant’s research on Givers, Takers, and Matchers, you will explore your own networking style and how it shapes the way you connect with others.

What to expect

A practical and interactive session where you will:

• Discover your networking persona

• Create a personal map of your professional network

• Organize your contacts into clear categories

• Identify key relationships and hidden opportunities

• Leave with a simple system to manage and activate your network

You can build your network map using Excel, Trello, or any tool you prefer.

By the end of the workshop, you will have a clear overview of your network and a practical structure to make it work for you.
